My First Face-ache.

Make Your Bed.
Whenever I have a day that just feels out of control or anxious, there is one thing I can do that helps turn it around. I make my bed. I turn off my brain and focus on tucking back in the sheet, on smoothing out a comforter, on fluffing up a pillow. That one simple thing can help smooth my anxiety. Motherhood.
It’s been a rough week. Justin and I were both sick with different things. Grandma took the baby one night so we could completely rest because he wasn’t sleeping great. What I Watched on Maternity Leave.
We had our baby at the end of October. I was lucky enough to get to take 12 weeks, thank God. Once I was in that situation I couldn’t have imagined being able to function enough to go back to work at 6 weeks. I would have been insane.
