Last night we went to M & A’s for chili and game night. The chili was delicious. Their kids were entertaining. The Farming Game was a blast. The sad news…. When you’re as broke in a game as you are in real life…. After being that broke though, I came back to get second place. Yup. He won. I love game nights! -RR

Music.
I love music. It’s a big part of my life. I have played/tried to learn many instruments. Trumpet, violin, piano, drums, french horn, flute, clarinet, cello, guitar, saxophone. I’m sure I am missing some, but you get the picture. I have recently started to play my violin again, and my b-i-l has been helping me learn the guitar. I finally got some new strings for it and he came over to fix it. Also, you have to love anything that has your name on it. Or, at least your old name. Stay tuned for more. (yes, that was on purpose.) -Used to be a Martin.

One Year.
November 13, 2016. Our one year anniversary. I have learned so much during this past year. I see a lot of posts about being with your best friend. Justin isn’t my best friend. I go shopping with my best friend. We discuss hair styles. We talk about lady problems. We watch chick flicks together, and go to Target to look for things we do not need. However, I tell my husband everything. Well, almost everything. Sometimes he wishes I didn’t. We have money struggles, together. I wonder about our future. Sometimes I worry about our future. I’m excited about the future. Justin is so much more than a best friend.…

Bowling and Chili.
Justin went bowling with his co-workers during the day and I picked him up after 5. There was much beer. Then the weekend was filled with Chili! I have never had Justin’s chili before. It. Was. So. Good. I wasn’t allowed to touch it until it was ready to eat. Normally, I eat chili with crackers and cornbread. I’m simple like that. However, Justin had me try it with cinnamon rolls, cheese and sour cream. Justin really enjoys spicy food. So, that chili was pretty darn spicy. That sour cream really saved me. Who knew that I would like sour cream? Not me, but I do. And luckily, I love…

Baby!
November 7th. My sister had her third child. Little Baby A! She is so beautiful, so tiny, so precious, and healthy. We waited a couple nights to give them a chance to get slightly settled, and then we went for a visit. She is the first baby for Justin. He married into this crazy bunch with kids ranging from ages 1 to 8, but she is the first baby. Yes, that is the face of pure excitement. We went after work and even though it was long, it was a beautiful drive. We also brought along supper. Yes it has a drive thru, but oh man. Oh man. It was…

Pancakes.
At least one morning on the weekends we will make breakfast together. Or, one of us will make breakfast and the other will watch. It was my turn to watch. I love pancakes. I love waffles. I love syrup. I love breakfast. Love, RR

Trivial Pursuit.
Saturday night was spent playing Trivial Pursuit with Justin and Jason (AKA Brother From Another Mother). I love board games and it was a blast. I don’t know if they felt the same, but who cares? Muahahaha. And of course, the first piece of pie I get is from an amazing guess on a freaking sports question. Who would have thought it? In the end, Justin won. I had almost made a comeback too! Grrr. During the course of the game I knew a lot of the answers to Justin’s questions which really got my goat. This little gem (bottom question) popped up which we had discussed during work one…

The Beard.
J started growing out his beard about a week before our wedding. At first he was just going to have it until after his best friend’s wedding in May, then he decided to go an entire year. So in honor of no shave November, he shaved it off on October 31st. However, he decided to do it in stages. Seriously. Why. He is definitely not a mustache man. Nope. They all looked horrible. Until this…!!! Ah, my handsome husband is back! -The Rebs

Birthday.
Justin recently had a birthday. I will spare him and not release his age online. Muahaha. They recently got an office pet at his job and he got to spend some time with her. He tried to torture me by taking the tape off the wrapping paper just to make it last longer. It did not work. When he came home from work, he played some WoW while I cleaned the apartment. Which meant I got to jam out with my headphones in to this beauty…
