Breakfast This week I made a few egg and sausage breakfast burritos. I used 6 whole eggs and then a few tablespoons of liquid egg whites that I had left in the fridge. For the sausage, I found these bad boys which I only used part of. A little goes a long way with them. I used a smaller tortilla shell to help with the calorie count, then I added some cheese with the sausage and egg, wrapped them up in foil and popped them in the freezer. I thew one in the microwave this morning for about 2 minutes or so and it was pretty good! Lunch I messed…

19 in 2019. (2020 Update)
I decided to go through and update this post that I made in early 2019, just to see what I did and didn’t accomplish. It ain’t pretty folks. My updated responses are in this purple font as a sub-bullet point. Some of my friends at work were talking about this ’19 in 2019′ thing, and since i’m a snoop, I barged in asking questions. Basically, it’s a list of goals and things you want to accomplish in 2019. Some of mine are measurable, others are not. Do what works for you, I always say. Study french once a week Did not do this Read 20 books I didn’t keep track,…

Friends. (Not the TV Show)
I realized I have a lot of friends. Maybe not typical friends, but I sure call a lot of people by that word. I have many friends I’ve never met in person (even though I finally did start hearing their voices via different chat services). I am ‘friends’ with people that I’ve worked with, but never hung out with outside of work. What really constitutes a friend? Friend Definition: a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection, typically exclusive of sexual or family relations. Okay then. So I really do have a quite a few friends. A former co-worker shared her fitness journey…

MM 100: Week 1.
First things first… About the Program In case you don’t know what it is, here are some details about the Morning Meltdown 100 (or MM 100) program… It is lead by trainer Jericho, who is one of my favorites! There is a live DJ, whose music I don’t actually like (sorry Jesse!!), so I usually mute or lower the volume and jam out to my own tunes. That keeps me waaay more motivated and pumped up. He is pretty fun to watch though! They are actually numbered 1 through 100 which is a great way to keep track of where you are. I absolutely love that! There are 2 different…

Meal Prep: 01/11/2019
Breakfast Tex Mex Breakfast Lasagna by Mason Woodruff Mason is one of my favorites and I love it when he pops up on my Instagram. I forgot to take pictures as I was making it, but I did crack it back open to take a picture for this. I’m not going to lie, I’ve had a few bites and it’s absolutely delicious!!! I cannot wait for tomorrow morning so I can actually have a slice! Lunch Three Cheese Macaroni Casserole by Beachbody Justin hates broccoli, so I substituted a bag of frozen spinach instead. I also added some baked chicken. I made this normally last week and it was great,…

My Why.
First off, we have a Beachbody on Demand membership and it’s amazing. ‘Nuff said. And if anyone is interested, let me know and I will put you in touch with the best ‘coach’ in the world, Hannah McLeod. In all honesty, I’ve never met her in person. I started following Hannah on Instagram and realized how utterly awesome she was. I now consider her to be a great friend and hopefully I will meet her in real life someday. Now, the point of this… I have officially started the Morning Meltdown 100 program over for the 3rd time..and the final time, at least until I finish it. Third time…

Watermelon.
I adore watermelon. I could eat it every single day. Every day. This week, Walmart was out of whole watermelons, which means I had to become one of those people who buy pre-cut watermelon. Now, I don’t get the people who buy pre-cut watermelon on the reg. It’s so much cheaper (and fresher) if you buy a whole watermelon and chop it up. (There is no judgement here though, you do whatchu gotta do) Anyways, I bought some pre-cut. A few days later, I had some. It tasted funny. And a little weird. And then I got sick. It was brutal. I never want to throw up watermelon ever again.…

What’s In Your Bag?
Oh man. I love a big purse….in reality, mine isn’t really a purse, it’s more of a…small suitcase? So, what is in my bag? Let’s get started! This is the bag I’ve been using for most of the summer, an adorable leafy print from Target! 1 pair of fun sunglasses from 5 Below. Got these as a gift for being in a friends wedding last summer! Still my favorite! My pill container, which I got from Amazon. With my hypothyroid, I have to take a pill every morning. Sometimes I run out of time before I go to work, so this allows me to always have them with me! My work badge A $50…

God’s Country.
Do you like country music? If so, take a couple minutes and watch this music video: The very first time I heard this song, it touched my soul. One thing to note, I am not religious. I don’t believe in God, but even with that, this song is everything. It speaks to a way of life, of living. A life that is simple, and kind, and honest. A life that appreciates the smaller things in life. “I saw the light in the sunrise” That land taught me respect, hard work, and love. That family comes before things. It also taught me 13-point pitch and ‘roof ball’ I grew up on…

Diana Palmer Book Review.
I adore romance novels, or at least I used to. Until I got married. Now, half the time they just piss me off. Honestly, if Justin would ever talk to me the way some of those men do…. I can’t decide if I would get divorced, or just cut his balls off. I used to love love love Nora Roberts. But it has probably been at least 2 years since I have read one of her books. I mean, in reality, she has written so many novels that it probably makes sense why she uses the same phrasing over and over…and over…and over in every single book she writes. I…
