• This Is Going To Be Fun.

I received a new cook book for Christmas. It has some great recipes inside! I am so excited to try out ALL of them. Though, I don’t know if Justin is excited. -The RR. ♥

  • Christmas, Part 1.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas. It felt like December has been a long month. We spent the weekend with J’s family in Wilsey. It was a great weekend filled with fun, food, and lots of family. We started the weekend with some drink testing. Following that was the annual Christmas Vacation movie viewing. The next day was Christmas Eve and we had the family Christmas and then Christmas at his Grandparents. The next day was Christmas at his aunt’s house. I had a great time playing around with my new camera. I don’t have photo-shop yet so I can’t play around with that. Even though we had a great time,…

  • Resolutions.

I just read an interesting article about how a habit takes 66 days to form. With New Years just around the corner I have been thinking about my resolution. I usually only make one. I can’t even do that for the first month so why should I fail at several goals? This 66 day thing sounds more possible though. I have several bad habits that I would like to quit, and several good ones that I would like to form. January sounds like the perfect time to try this. So, I will be gathering my list of habits to break, and habits to form for the first 66 days of…

  • ThrowBack Tavern

We went out last Friday night to the ThrowBack Tavern where a friend of mine was working. The cheese-balls were amazing. There was a pool table that the boys found entertaining along with karaoke that I will hopefully someday convince my brother from another mother to participate in.

  • Stew, Caramel, and Jokes.

I made some of my mum’s beef stew last weekend. Yum Yum Yum. I make very simple stew though. Meat, potatoes, onion, carrots and celery. Then, I pretty much just eat the meat and potatoes. Delicious. Sadly Justin doesn’t like stew. Weird man. These things are gold.   This was a bit of the book I have been reading. When to not be completely honest. I laughed so hard at the last three lines. Luckily I will never have to worry about that.

  • 1920s.

Saturday night was Justin’s office holiday party. The theme was 1920s Casino Night. I adore the 1920s. Sadly, I didn’t really want to spend the money for an amazing costume. Instead, Justin did the dressing up and I just went comfortably. It was a good time. I have never been to a casino and I have never gambled. What made it even better was the fact that it wasn’t real money! However, now I really want to go to a casino and I really want to gamble! I adore Blackjack!!! There was tons of alcohol and fun toys at the party.     I also learned how to inhale helium…

  • The Blue Moose.

A new restaurant opened up in Manhattan. We ate at The Blue Moose in Topeka and loved it so I was really excited that one came here. Friday night they had a “soft opening” and you had to make reservations. I LOVE having reservations. People kept trying to come in without them and they had to leave. I felt important. Haha! The drinks, food and service were great. The timing was a little slow but I expected that. All in all, it was a great time. Especially since everything was half price. After dinner, we stopped by his office so he could show me his new digs. With the new…

  • The Library.

I love libraries. I adore them. I love the smell of books. Especially old books. I recently got a library card. I love this book! I love the pictures! I love the diagrams. So much of it is true. If all you do is watch TV, eat and sleep, what kind of life is that?
