• Happy Endings.

I have an incredibly long post about our vacation coming up, but I had something I wanted to get off my chest. Happy Endings might be one of my all time favorite tv shows.

  • Cinco de Mayo.

May 5th. I put in some overtime hours at work, got my hairs cut, helped a friend with some wedding stuff, and then went out for dinner at La Fiesta, mostly because I had new hair, and got half my makeup done at Ulta. So…why not? Surprisingly, the wait wasn’t awful.

  • Putt Putt.

Oh Monday. I ended up taking an unplanned mental health morning today by sleeping in. I feel so grateful to work in a place that allows flexible schedules. It was the best thing for myself.

  • Breaking Bats.

Ever since I met J, I joined his co-rec softball team in the summer. He got a team together…4 or 5 years ago. After the first year, he got the company he works for to sponsor it. After dealing with some frustrations over the past two years, we decided to get our own personal team together. However, we kept the team name that he created (along with the logo).

  • Swingers.

Disclaimer: This post isn’t actually about ‘swinging’. For those who don’t actually know my husband, he isn’t a hugely social guy. I have made that man go on so many new double dates, I used to feel kind of bad for him. Untilllll…he accepted one on our behalf. We thought we would just be doing lunch and bowling. We thought wrong. And it was so much fun!

  • Graduation.

A new friend of mine is graduating from K-State in May and I am so happy/proud of her. So much so, that I went out and took some pictures for her as a gift.

  • Jeff Goldblum.

There is a woman in my department who does not like Jeff Goldblum. So, obviously, we all have pictures of him at our desks. However, I have a special picture at mine. I won this bad boy during a training session. I seriously love trivia, competitions, and winning. Man, this thing is glorious!

  • Little Apple Core Challenge.

This is the 2nd year Manhattan has had the Little Apple Core Challenge. If you haven’t heard of them before, it’s where local businesses sign up to basically compete against other businesses in different activities.
