For Christmas, I had asked my mother for a sewing basket.
In that basket was a piece of my youth.
My aunt had included an old bucket list I had made while I was living with her.
Let’s see…
- Skydive
- Dance like no one is watching
- Write a book
- Find God
Kiss a stranger- Learn to belly dance
- Learn the guitar
- Start waking up at 5 a.m.
- Go to Africa
Pay off credit cards(we once again have credit card debt, but I had paid off them all at one point)- Learn a foreign language
Shoot a gunGet marriedGolf- Learn to surf
- Go bowling in a prom dress
- Go to a haunted house
Learn to mix drinksGrill a steak- Plant a garden
Do I still want to some of these things?
Maybe
Maybe some of them.
Actually, maybe all of them still?
Except for finding God. I spent a few years on that, but I really don’t know if I ever will, or if I even want to anymore? We shall see as time goes on.
Also, one thing I really love about blogging…I can write about these things, and share pictures, and then feel comfortable actually being able to throw away this piece of paper.
So thank you for letting me share.
Love, Me.

Very good. I noticed this: “Learn a foreign language”.
I suggest You Spanish. It is easy to learn and helps You when travelling to Spain, South and Central America. You can compare English and Spanish in my blog, because I blog in those languages.
Have a good day!

Thanks! I love that you have it in both languages!

It’s cool to be able to compare your then dreams to your now dreams. If those from “then”, are no longer “now”, then, they weren’t as important. We change, we grow, we need different things. However, it is something beneficial to go back to those “thens” and cross something off that list.

Exactly! I am curious to see what will change in the next 10 years. But also, with our no-spending challenge this year, I’m just making a list of all the things I want to buy. Then, when we can spend money, I will look it over and see what I still actually want. I am going to be very curious to see what I will actually think is important in the end.

I went on a sky diving trip once with a group of friends. The winds picked up beyond the safety limit and I took that as a sign from God that I should keep my feet safely on the ground as much as possible. As for bumping into the Divine Him or Her, I often think hat happens through our interactions with each other. You and the rest of our family have been a blessing in my life, dear Cousin, and that’s enough of a religious experience for me. Keep dreaming up new items for your list and stay on it!

Ha! I don’t know if I can imagine you sky diving! Oh thank you! I also consider you an immense blessing. Can’t wait to see you guys again.
