Diana Palmer Book Review.

I adore romance novels, or at least I used to.

Until I got married.

Now, half the time they just piss me off.

Honestly, if Justin would ever talk to me the way some of those men do…. I can’t decide if I would get divorced, or just cut his balls off.

I used to love love love Nora Roberts. But it has probably been at least 2 years since I have read one of her books. I mean, in reality, she has written so many novels that it probably makes sense why she uses the same phrasing over and over…and over…and over in every single book she writes.

I also used to read Diana Palmer.

Oh holy crap. I can’t even with these books.

I have yet to read a book by Diana Palmer where the female isn’t a simpering, weak, INNOCENT, PURE, UNTOUCHED, unknown in anything male oriented.

No. Just. No.

If you are curious about what i’m referring to, just check out any of her books in her “Wyoming” series. I just tried reading Wyoming Fierce. I think I made it about…3 chapters in?

I also listened to the audiobook of Wyoming Legend. My ears were bored, which I think is the only reason I actually managed to finish it. But good lord that was a struggle.

This is how I feel every time I try to read one of her books….

Anywho, I just had to get this out there. I tried googling about others who don’t like her writing style, but I couldn’t find anything.

Please tell me I’m not alone?
