At some point over the summer I went to see Amy Schumer’s movie I Feel Pretty with a friend.
Mind you, Justin and I had this conversation about it…
Me: I’m going to a movie with C tonight.
J: What are you going to see?
Me: Avengers
J: *sends me links to divorce lawyers*
Me: I Feel Pretty
J: Good for you.
Our marriage is alive and well. Thanks for the concern. 🙂
(For those confused by the drastic turn in the conversation, Justin and I agreed when we got married on the list of movies we wouldn’t see without the other. Avengers was in that list)
Now, the movie… I really did not want to like it. I mostly went just to spend some time with Christine.
Don’t get me wrong, some parts were incredibly difficult to watch, like the bikini contest in the bar.
However, I really did love the message by the end.
